Amplyx is developing a method that improves and prolongs the life of small molecule drugs. One of the company’s co-founders, Dr. Gerry Crabtree, described the method as sequestering — or “hiding” — the drug inside the cell where it can’t be degraded, adding, “it means the drug lives longer.”
